- Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Payment information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
- Ticket listing details you provide when selling.
- Transaction history associated with your account.
- Device and browser information for security purposes.
2. How we use your information
- To process transactions and manage escrow.
- To verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- To communicate with you about your account and transactions.
- To resolve disputes.
- To improve the Tikiberry platform.
3. Who we share your information with
We share limited information with:
- Stripe — for payment processing and payouts.
- Supabase — our database provider, which stores your account and transaction data securely.
- Other parties only if required by law or to resolve a dispute.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 5 years for legal and financial compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on Tikiberry servers.
6. Your rights
Under South African POPIA legislation, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to the processing of your information.

7. Cookies
